Ingredients:
- Rice:- 200gm
- Methi:- 1bunch
- Coriander:- 1/4 bunch
- Onion:- 1 big chopped
- Garlic paste:- 2 tsp
- Oil:- 4 tsp
- Salt:- to taste
- Red chilli powder;- to taste
- Asafetida (Hing) :- a pinch
- Turmeric powder:- as required
METHOD:-
- Wash methi and coriander and chop finely.
- Put half of the oil in a pan; add onion and garlic paste and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add turmeric,hing,chilli powder and methi and coriander to it and cook for 5 to 7 min.
- Put salt and cook for 2 min and switch off the gas.
- Put water and salt in the rice and cook the rice in a cooker.
- Heat remaining oil in a vessel add cooked rice and methi paste mix well and sauté for 2 min, and switch off the gas. Serve hot.
