With the Outbreak of Covid -19 this year, Nityaasha Foundation was closed down and work from home was scheduled. However, we realised that our obligation to our children is paramount – and that theyneeded us more than ever during the lockdown, for continuity of treatment.
It was decided to fulfil our responsibility towards our enrolled children. As there was strict lockdown enforced in Pune, Nityaasha Foundation took the necessary permissions from the authorities andmade arrangements to deliver medical aid to our Type 1 diabetes children at their doorstep.Volunteers distributed medical aid to children living in far off areas like Ahmednagar, Beed, Mulshi, Baramati, etc.
Donations were also received to distribute Rations to the severely affected families who lost their jobs during the pandemic. 150 families received the groceries from these funds.
