Professor Dr. Iqbal Musani completed BDS from PUNE University in 1996 with a University rank.
He completed his MDS in 1999 in the specialty of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (Bangalore), and was awarded the Best Outgoing Postgraduate Award.
He went on to do his Diploma in LASER Dentistry from the Indian Academy of LASER Dentistry in 2012 and is a all tissues LASER user for the last one and half years.
Dr. Musani is also Member of Indian Academy of LASER Dentistry (IALD), Member of Society for Oral LASER Applications (SOLA) India and Life Member of Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD).
He has contributed to two textbooks in the subject of Pediatric Dentistry and has many publications to his credit at the both National and International level.
Prof. Musani has presented many papers at National and State-level conferences and also chaired many scientific sessions at National and State-level conferences.
Dr. Musani is the Editor-in-Chief of the Universal Research Journal of Dentistry and Former Editor of International Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a reviewer in three peer-reviewed journals, one of them being the official publication of the Indian Academy of LASER Dentistry.
Currently he is Professor and Postgraduate Teacher at the M.A. Rangonwala College of Dental Sciences and Research Center, Pune, and is actively involved in research in SAFE SEDATION and LASERS in Pediatric Dentistry.
Other than his profession of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Musani is passionate about Social Service. He associated with the Scouting movement in Pune and is a Government Certified trained Scout Master. Dr. Musani routinely conducts dental checkup and treatment camps for various NGOs. He has been a volunteer with the Aga Khan Development Network in various capacities. Currently he is the Chairman for the Regional Education Board for Western India, Aga Khan Education Service India.
